Seika, you always know how to make me happy. I love Christopher Kane, ever since I saw his scalloped dresses here in SS, I have fallen in love with his designs, so I'm excited for this challenge!
I thought his 2010 Spring/Summer collection was pretty cute - I loved all the gingham and soft colors, only Christopher Kane could make gingham so pretty and chic and not too Dorothy-esque.
For this challenge, I decided to dress a little offbeat in honor of his one-of-a-kind designs. I like his Topshop collection too - I haven't seen them in stores yet, but we're always a little behind in Asia, so I'm hoping I could get my hands on a few items soon. Like that top, for example!
I'm always having so much fun with this group. Thanks Seika for another great challenge!
Ooh, this challenge is tough, I am so not a sporty kind of person. In fact, my friends say that if I suddenly become sporty, they'd have to start preparing for apocalypse. The four horsemen are coming! (Well, sporty was one of the four horsemen, the others are marriage and kids ;p)
I never exercise (I know, it's bad but I'd rather diet to manage my weight. I'm a good dieter, I'm so disciplined and focused) and the only "exercise" I'd do happily is walking through the malls to go shopping for clothes. I once got a 3-months free membership to a gym, and I used it to take a free hot shower because the water pressure in my house sucks and I never got to take a hot shower. When I bought my new house, I also got a one-year free membership in the clubhouse, and I only used it so I could accompany my boyfriend without having to pay. And when he went swimming or shoot some hoops, I read my book by the pool under the really big umbrella so I'd be protected from the sun (what? I'm already tanned ;p).
But a challenge's a challenge - so I'm going to attempt to do this one. And besides, now that Stella McCartney designs for Adidas, there are a lot of cute sporty stuff out there. Here's how I'd wear sporty. Knowing me, I'd probably wear this to go to the bank to make my mortgage payment - I figure it counts as an exercise since I have to walk to and from the bank.
How cute is that Marni jacket? Now I'd go sporty if I could afford it!
Omg! I love that jacket, I saw it and it automatically stood out to me. This is what I call my kind of look! love being comfortable, and most of what I wear is sporty, even though I don't have one ounce of athleticism in my body :D
Congratulations Ashley303 for winning last week's challenge, I really loved your look for the Alexander Wang boots and I'm glad Foulard de Soie thought so too!
I love nude pumps, there's something so sexy about them, and yet they're still classic and sophisticated too, so I'm excited for this challenge. I don't own nude pumps, simply because I stopped buying heels a while back - they always hurt my feet and now I'm the comfort above all else kinda girl ;p But here's how I would style the nude pumps: I love that dress and had it for ages in my favorites but haven't found a way to use it until now, and somehow it goes really well with the pumps, so finally I can take it out of my closet! I want to create a quirky vintage-inspired look and what better than that fab hat to achieve my goal? ;p
This challenge is so much fun. Thanks Ashley303 for picking a great pair of pumps this week!
oh my gosh!! you know what this would be perfect for?? the races!! sorry i have spring carnival fever!! you look absolutely gorgeous doll, i love the way you've styled these and that dress IS devine!

That's it from me, this is Binky for SS Weekly wishing you a fabulous week!
Ha, this is one feeling I know all too well. I'm always flirty. My friends are mostly guys, so I know exactly how to behave when it comes to men, and a little harmless flirtation can go a long way.
Yes, I'm the kind of girl who would flirt to get a free upsize on my coffee, be allowed to sit in the smoking lounge without buying anything, get a random stranger to carry my luggage when I'm traveling and basically just to get everything done quickly. The men used to love me when I was still working in an office, and I would always have someone to go out and buy me a pack of cigarette at all hours of the day and night (I did a lot of overtime), get a cab in the middle of the night, do a shitload of photocopying and printing, etc, etc, etc. Men are too easy; if you know how to handle them, you can pretty much get them to do anything you want. And yes, I do abuse that "power", much to the chagrin of my lovely boyfriend ;p
But seriously, if you want to get men to be eating out of the palm of your hands, then you gotta use your feminine power instead of being all manly. You don't have to pretend to be weak or dumb, you can still be strong and intelligent without being intimidating. Flirt a little. Giving them a smile and some compliments can go a long way. ;p
This is what I wear when I'm feeling flirty, a mini dress with high heels, and a cute headband - I feel flirty already! I don't wear fur (it's too hot!) but I just feel like using that fabulous fur jacket here.
Thanks for another great challenge, Natural Born Styler!
Beeing that flirty is a super hero skill to me. I know that I am considered flirty sometimes but I am not trying to. I am not aware of it. Sometimes I wish I had the skill of controling it. So, I do envy you and your outfit is enviable. Love love love it!
